Within walking distance of Lefkas Town there is the beach of Agios Ioannis, a beautiful beach with many cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or snack. At the end of the coast, directly on the beach there is the picturesque chapel of Agios Ioannis of Antzousis by which they the whole area was named.
The blue of the sea blends harmoniously with the green mountain and creates a fairytale landscape, which attracts adventurous tourists, but also wind-kite-surfers, who arrive from all over the world.
In Agios Ioannis you will find high-quality accommodation, which allow you to spend your holidays outside of busy tourist centers.

A natural throne! A stunning beach surrounded by green mountains. It is an enormous beach both in length and in width and is covered with fine white sand, which makes it a real "Greek Riviera". The mountain top serves as a springboard for "para-gliders”. Guests can enjoy the day and the night on the beach, in one of the beach bars or cafes that are literally next to the sea and offer visitors everything they may need!

Another famous beach, which has retained its pure natural beauty, is Egremni. It is located in the south western part of the island. It is a landmark of Lefkada which you must visit, its emerald clear waters together with the imposing cliffs and verdant forests, which reflect over the beach.
338 steps lead to the most beautiful beach of the Ionian Sea! No wonder why CNN placed Egremni in second place of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world for 2013!!!
It is one of the most idyllic parts of Lefkada to enjoy the sunset, accompanied by the cool breeze and the quiet splash of the waves.
What words could you use to describe this stunning beach?
It's just indescribable!

Simply Paradise! The only way to describe this stunning beach is "it’s a dream!" It is surely one of the places you must visit on your next holidays to Greece.
Porto Katsiki got its name from the fact that the beach used to be such an inaccessible place that only goats could descend the steep slope to reach the coast. Today, it has a fixed staircase leading to the beach. The descent is a little tedious, but the breathtaking views, the fantastic colors and the feeling of swimming in water like this, will reimburse you for it!
